Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin devorced his wife Anne Wojcicki after six years of marriage. Their divorce made no headlines when it was approved in May.
They married in 2007 and the separation news was recently made public towards the end of June 2015. Reportedly, there are news that the couple stayed away for months before the divorce. Some sources claim that they have been split up for years.
According to the Forbes, the reason for divorce was Brin being romantically involved with another employee at Google (Rosenberg). The Vanity Fair magazine reported, Anne Wojciciki discovered emails between the two (Brin and Rosenberg).
A source told Business Insider, The couple is still raising their (two) kids as a team and are staying close to each other in Los Altos.
Brin’s wife Anne Wojcicki is the younger sister of Susan Wojcicki, who works as a senior vice president of advertising and commerce at Google. Susan’s husband Dennis Troper also works at Google. Furthermore, Brin have invested in Anne’s company, 23andMe, which sells home DNA testing kits.
Brin is the 14th richest person in the U.S. according the Forbes. Anne, has her own Company worth millions. She has raised more than $110million for her company.
The couple have continued to make public appearances even after the split. They were most recently seen in November 2014 at the Breakthrough Prize Awards.
